Our Water Treatment
The next stage is for the water to pass through the secondary filter which filters out large debris that may have been missed by the sump and skimmer
Once the water has passed through the secondary filter, it passes through the sand filter which is pictured to the right. The job of the sand filter is to catch any smaller bits of debris that may have passed through the primary and secondary large debris filters.
The crystal-clear water, carefully filtered, has already been added to the pool. It circulates around the pool, ready to be swum in.
The first steps of our filtration process is for the sump (floor) and the skimmer (water level) to extract water from the pool extracting large debris in the process.
Pictured to the left is an example of a UV filter that we use on the pool water once it has passed through the sand filter. This kills and microscopic germs which would have passed through the filtration system up until this point.
If one form of microscopic protection wasn’t enough, we have an automatic chlorine and PH monitoring system that registers the levels every 10 seconds. It then dispenses Chlorine, PH regulators and flocculant accordingly.
After that the water is clean and ready to be swum in. Then the water is sent to the heater to be heated up to the perfect temperature for you and your children.
